There were two teachers that I really liked, now remember this was in the late forties and early fifties. Josephine Andrews I loved as if she were my mom, since I didn't have one, and Eunice McMichen. She put up with a lot in her personal life, she, no doubt, was a very strong individual, and I admired her.
My favorite hero's were Joel Robinson Sr. and my brother Joel Robinson Jr., who is still alive at age 80, who stands by his convictions and beliefs, he is a Christian, and loves everyone equally, and he doesn't give a rat's ass whether you like him or not, he still loves you. He has had a rough time in 2003, 5 by-pass surgery, so remember him in your prayers.
