Obits Class of 77

Perry Lewis, 44, of Argo died Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton in Birmingham. He graduated from Dora High in the Class of 77.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow at Phillips Cemetery. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home is directing.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Nov. 12, 2003, at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home.
Perry was considered the best "heavy equipment operator to ever sit on a seat."
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Loretta and Ervin Lewis, and brothers, Ricky, Max and Terry Early.
He is survived by his mother, Jan Lewis of Argo; brother, Casey Lewis and family of Argo; two beloved caregivers, Janis Stewart and Julie Lewis; two special friends, Rusty Upton and family and Chuck Norris and family.
